Promote an online course or school with creators

How course creators, schools and edtech brands use SaTT: tutorial-style posts paid per post, YouTube reviews, and a Quest for e-mail sign-ups.

In short

Education brands use SaTT to pay creators for tutorials, reviews and study tips that mention a course, with a fixed reward per post or a price per 1,000 views. To collect leads, add a Quest with a consented e-mail action or a tracked “visit URL” action. SaTT does not track course sign-ups: measure them with your own analytics.

Why is promoting a course hard?

Learners trust teachers and peers more than ads. But paying educators for reviews up front gives no proof of reach, and course sales take weeks to come in.

How does SaTT help education brands?

  • Measured reviews: YouTube views and likes are read from the official YouTube Data API, the most complete source SaTT has.
  • Lead capture: a Quest can include an e-mail action with an explicit consent box; only consented e-mails appear in your CSV export.
  • Traffic: a Quest “visit URL” action counts visits through a tracked redirect.

Combine a pay-per-post AdPool for reviews with a small Quest for leads.

  • AdPool, $300 on YouTube and X: Nano $2.00, Micro $1.80, Mid $1.60 per 1,000 followers, 1 post per creator, cap $80 per post.
  • Quest, $100: actions “visit the course page” (auto), “leave your e-mail” (auto, consented) and “comment with your code” on YouTube (proof); prizes of five free enrolments or 5 × $15.
  • Duration: 21 days for the AdPool, 14 days for the Quest.

How do you launch it?

  1. 1. Draft the review campaign

On Create, paste the course page with the goal “honest reviews from educators”.

  2. 2. Write a precise brief

List the modules to show, the level, the price and the link with your UTM parameters, and ask creators to disclose the partnership.

  3. 3. Launch the Quest

Open Create a Quest, add the visit and e-mail actions and the prizes.

  4. 4. Track sign-ups yourself

Read enrolments in your course platform, filtered by your UTM source.

What are the pitfalls?

  • Promising outcomes or grades in the brief: ask creators to describe their own experience instead.
  • Expecting SaTT to count enrolments: it measures posts, visits through a Quest link and consented e-mails only.
  • Using LinkedIn for a professional course: LinkedIn posts cannot be verified or paid today. Use X or YouTube instead.

Key takeaways

  • YouTube is the best-measured network for tutorials and reviews.
  • A Quest collects consented e-mails and tracked visits.
  • SaTT does not count course sign-ups; use UTM links and your own analytics.
  • LinkedIn posts cannot be paid today.

Frequently asked questions

Can I pay creators per student who enrols?

No. SaTT pays for post results (views, likes, shares) or Quest prizes. Track enrolments with your own analytics and UTM links.

Are e-mails collected in a Quest shared with me?

Only e-mails of participants who ticked the explicit consent box appear in the Quest CSV export available to the pool owner.

Can a prize be a free course?

Quest prizes are paid in the pool currency. You can announce free enrolments in the brief, but deliver them outside SaTT.
