In short
In a fixed reward per post AdPool, each validated post earns a price set by the creator’s audience tier on that network: followers × the tier’s price per 1,000 followers, up to a cap per post. The brand chooses 1 to 10 tiers per network and how many creators each tier pays, so the worst case is known before launch.

What is pay per post with tiers?
It is the predictable reward mode. A creator knows the price of a post before publishing, and the brand knows the maximum it can spend.
The price depends only on the creator’s real follower count on the network of the post, read by SaTT, not on how the post performs afterwards. For pay per result, see pay per performance.
How is a creator’s price calculated?
The tier is the highest one whose “from (followers)” threshold the creator reaches. Then: price = followers × price per 1,000 followers ÷ 1,000, capped by the tier’s max per post.
The recommended presets are a starting point you can edit:
| Tier | From (followers) | Price per 1,000 followers |
|---|---|---|
| Nano | 1,000 | $2.00 |
| Micro | 10,000 | $1.80 |
| Mid | 50,000 | $1.60 |
| Macro | 100,000 | $1.40 |
| Mega | 500,000 | $1.20 |
| Celebrity | 1,000,000 | $1.00 |
Creators below the first tier cannot join that network of the pool.
What are slots, caps and posts per creator?
- [Slots](gl:slot): how many different creators a tier pays (0 = unlimited). A new creator in a full tier is refused.
- Cap per post: the most one post of the tier can earn, whatever the follower count.
- Max posts per creator: how many paid posts one creator may submit (0 = no limit).
The editor shows “Budget coverage”: the maximum payout if every slot is used. If it exceeds the budget, late creators may find the pool exhausted.
What does a worked example look like?
A $200 dollar pool on Instagram with the presets: the 15% fee leaves $170 for creators.
- A creator with 4,500 followers is Nano: 4,500 × $2.00 ÷ 1,000 = $9.00 per post.
- A creator with 25,000 followers is Micro: 25,000 × $1.80 ÷ 1,000 = $45.00, or less if the Micro cap is lower.
- Each validated post is paid once, in full, 48 hours after its first measurement (maturation).
What are the limits?
A network needs a readable follower count to be priced by tier, so networks where SaTT cannot read followers (Facebook, LinkedIn today) are not offered in this mode. If a flagged post is approved later and the audience dropped by more than 20%, the price is recalculated with the lower count. To set prices step by step, read Choose prices by tier.
Key takeaways
- Price per post = followers × tier price per 1,000 followers, capped.
- Brands set 1 to 10 ascending tiers per network.
- Slots limit how many creators a tier pays; 0 means unlimited.
- Fixed posts are paid once, in full, after the 48-hour maturation.
- Creators below the first tier cannot join.
Frequently asked questions
Are the amounts shown gross or net?
Gross. In crypto the platform fee (5% for SaTT pools, 15% otherwise) is deducted when the creator claims; in dollars it is taken from the budget at funding, and pool pages show the net.
When is my follower count read?
When you submit your post. That snapshot fixes your tier and price for this post.
Can I use a flat price for everyone?
Yes. Use a single tier with a threshold low enough for your audience and set its cap per post to the flat amount you want.
