YouTube tips for SaTT campaigns

How to post on YouTube for a SaTT AdPool: connect your channel with Google, what SaTT measures (views, likes), and common practices for videos and Shorts.

In short

On YouTube, SaTT reads views and likes through the official YouTube Data API, so performance pools that pay per view work well there. Connect your channel by signing in with Google, publish a public video or Short that follows the brief, and submit its link. Shares are not exposed by YouTube, so a “per share” price earns nothing on this network.

How do you connect your YouTube channel?

Sign in to SaTT with Google, or link YouTube from your account. The Google connection (read-only) proves the channel is yours and makes it a verified account. If the official connection is not available, a bio code in the channel description also works.

Step-by-step: Connect YouTube.

What does SaTT measure on YouTube?

Your subscriber count decides your audience tier in fixed-reward pools.

What works for sponsored YouTube videos?

Common practices, to test against your own results:

  • Say it early. Mention the product and why it matters to your viewers within the first part of the video.
  • Put the link in the description, near the top, with the brief’s hashtags.
  • Shorts for reach, long videos for depth. A Short suits a quick demo; a review or tutorial suits a longer video.
  • Keep the video public. A private or deleted video cannot be measured and is treated as removed.
  • Disclose the partnership with YouTube’s paid-promotion setting and in the description. See disclosure.

What happens after you submit the link?

The oracle measures the video. Nothing is payable for 48 hours after the first measurement (maturation); in performance pools you can claim again as views grow. Keep the video online until the pool ends: a removed video blocks further payment.

Key takeaways

  • Connect YouTube by signing in with Google (read-only), or use a bio code.
  • SaTT measures YouTube views, likes and subscribers; not shares, comments not read yet.
  • Keep the video public until the pool ends.
  • Payouts start 48 hours after the first measurement.

Frequently asked questions

Do YouTube Shorts count?

Yes. A Short is a YouTube video with its own link, and its views and likes are read the same way.

Why does a “per share” price show nothing for YouTube?

YouTube does not expose share counts, so the app hides the per-share price for YouTube and only views and likes can earn.

Can SaTT post on my channel?

No. The Google connection uses read-only access to prove ownership and read public statistics.
