In short
In a performance AdPool you set, per network, a price per 1,000 views (CPM), per like and per share, plus an optional cap per post. A post earns min(cap, views × price ÷ 1,000 + likes × price + shares × price) as it grows, until the budget runs out. Payouts start after 48 hours, with 20% held until a final check after the pool ends.

How does a performance post earn money?
Earned = min(cap per post, views × price per 1,000 views ÷ 1,000 + likes × price per like + shares × price per share).
Example with $2.00 per 1,000 views, $0.02 per like, $0.05 per share and a $25 cap: a post with 10,000 views, 300 likes and 40 shares earns $20 + $6 + $2 = $28, capped at $25.
Amounts are gross. The platform fee (5% for SaTT pools, 15% otherwise) is deducted when a crypto creator claims; in dollars it is taken when the pool is funded.
How do you set performance prices step by step?
1. Choose Performance
On Create, pick “Per result” in the draft or “Performance — fixed price per view, like and share” in the advanced editor.
2. Enter prices per network
Fill per 1,000 views, per like and per share for each network (at least one price per network), or use “Same price for all networks”.
3. Set a cap per post
Choose “Max per post” so one viral post cannot drain the pool, or leave “No cap”.
4. Limit posts per creator
Set “Max posts per creator” (0 = no limit) to spread the budget across more creators.
5. Read the example line
The editor shows what a post with 10,000 views, 300 likes and 40 shares earns on each network. Adjust until it matches your goal.
Which prices apply on which network?
The editor shows only the prices a network can earn on, based on SaTT’s tracking capabilities:
- YouTube: views and likes; no per-share price because YouTube does not expose shares.
- Instagram: no per-share price; views exist only for videos and Reels.
- X and TikTok: views, likes and shares.
- Networks that cannot be measured for performance are disabled and badged “Coming soon”.
When are performance earnings paid?
- Nothing is payable during the first 48 hours after the first measurement (maturation).
- After that, up to 80% of what the post earned is payable; crypto creators can claim each post again at most once every 24 hours as it grows.
- The remaining 20% (holdback) is released after a final check once the pool ends, if the post is still live and its numbers did not collapse by more than 30% from their peak.
See Maturation and holdback for the full rules.
Key takeaways
- Set per network: price per 1,000 views, per like, per share and a cap per post.
- Earned = min(cap, views × p ÷ 1,000 + likes × p + shares × p).
- Only measurable metrics can be priced on each network.
- Payouts start after 48 hours; 20% waits for the final check.
- Pools pay as posts grow, until the budget runs out.
Frequently asked questions
Which is better, performance or fixed per post?
Performance pays for reach and suits awareness; fixed per post is predictable and suits content collection. See Choose a reward mode.
Can a creator claim the same post several times?
Yes, in the crypto edition: each post can be claimed again as it grows, at most once every 24 hours, plus one final claim after the pool ends.
What stops creators from buying views?
Every measurement is scored for fraud; suspicious posts wait for your decision, and the 48-hour maturation and 20% holdback give checks time to catch purged numbers.
