In short
In a performance AdPool the brand sets, per network, a fixed price per 1,000 views (CPM), per like and per share, plus an optional cap per post. Creators are paid exactly those prices as their post grows, until the budget runs out, after a 48-hour maturation and with 20% held until a final check.

What is pay per performance?
It is the reward mode for reach. The brand pays for measured results instead of a fixed price per post, so a post that does well earns more and a post nobody sees earns little.
Every creator can join regardless of audience size, as long as their account is a verified account.
How are earnings calculated?
Earned = min(cap, views × price per 1,000 views ÷ 1,000 + likes × price per like + shares × price per share).
Example on X with $1.00 per 1,000 views, $0.02 per like and $0.05 per share: a post with 10,000 views, 300 likes and 40 shares earns $10 + $6 + $2 = $18 gross.
Only metrics a network exposes earn money. YouTube exposes no shares, and Instagram exposes views only for videos and Reels and no shares, so the editor hides those prices.
When are creators paid?
- [Maturation](gl:maturation): nothing is payable before 48 hours after the first measurement.
- [Holdback](gl:holdback): until the pool ends, at most 80% of what a post earned is payable. The last 20% is paid after a final check confirms the post is still live and its numbers did not collapse by more than 30%.
- Crypto: a creator can claim each post again as it grows, at most once every 24 hours, plus one final claim after the end.
- Dollars: earnings are credited to the balance as the post is re-measured.
What are the limits?
During the public alpha, metrics for X, TikTok and Instagram come from a data provider on a small daily quota, so they are marked “Limited”. Facebook and LinkedIn metrics cannot be measured today. Measured numbers go through fraud scoring; suspicious growth is held for the brand’s review.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a follower minimum?
No. Performance pools pay for results, so any verified account can join. Fixed reward pools are the ones that set a minimum tier.
What if the budget runs out while my post keeps growing?
Payouts stop when the budget is used up. Growth after that point earns nothing in this pool.
Why was my post’s growth not paid?
It may still be maturing, part of the 20% holdback, or flagged by fraud checks and waiting for the brand’s decision. The pool page shows its status.
