In short
For user-generated content (UGC), run an AdPool with a fixed reward per post: each verified creator earns a price set by their audience tier, so you collect many authentic posts at a predictable cost. The “UGC” template puts 85% of the budget on posts and 15% on a Quest.

Why is UGC hard to collect at scale?
Brands want real people showing real use of a product. Asking customers for posts gives few results; hiring creators one by one is slow and expensive.
You also need to know that each post is original and still online when you pay for it.
How does SaTT help collect UGC?
- Price by audience: a creator with 3,000 followers and one with 80,000 both join; each is paid for their tier.
- Slots per tier: you decide how many different creators each tier pays (a creator slot), which caps your spend.
- Originality checks: the same post URL, an identical caption or a near-identical caption is flagged as duplicate content.
- Liveness: a deleted or private post is blocked and never paid.
What setup is recommended for UGC?
Use the recommended tiers as a base and cap the top tiers if you mostly want volume:
| Tier | From | Price per 1,000 followers | Example |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nano | 1,000 followers | $2.00 | 4,000 followers → $8 per post |
| Micro | 10,000 followers | $1.80 | 25,000 followers → $45 per post |
| Mid | 50,000 followers | $1.60 | 60,000 followers → $96 per post |
With a $300 dollar budget, $255 remains for creators after the 15% fee. Keep 1 post per creator to maximise the number of different voices.
If you need to reuse the content in your own ads, agree on usage rights directly with the creators: an AdPool pays for publishing, not for a licence.
How do you run a UGC campaign?
1. Start from your product page
Paste it on Create with a goal like “real customers showing our product”.
2. Write an open brief
Describe the situation to film or photograph, not a script. See Write a creator brief.
3. Set tiers and slots
Keep Nano and Micro, cap or remove the higher tiers, and check “Covered by your budget”.
4. Review flagged posts
Approve or reject posts that fraud checks put in review, in your Dashboard.
5. Close the pool
When you have enough posts, close it to get the unspent budget back.
What are the common pitfalls?
- Giving one fixed caption: identical captions are flagged as duplicates. Give key points instead.
- Unlimited posts per creator: one creator could use the whole tier budget.
- Forgetting disclosure: ask creators to label the post as an ad according to their country’s rules.

Key takeaways
- Pay per post by audience tier gives many authentic posts at a known price.
- Slots per tier cap how many creators each tier pays.
- Duplicate URLs and captions are flagged; deleted posts are never paid.
- An AdPool pays for publishing; agree on reuse rights separately.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a minimum audience?
Creators below your first tier cannot join the pool. With the recommended presets the first tier starts at 1,000 followers; you can lower it.
Can I reuse creators’ posts in my ads?
Not automatically. The AdPool rewards a public post; reuse in your own ads needs the creator’s permission, agreed directly or through a gig.
When is a creator paid?
A fixed-reward post is paid once, in full, from 48 hours after its first measurement, if it passed the fraud checks or you approved it.
