In short
SaTT fingerprints every submitted post: its canonical URL, the exact caption and a near-duplicate signature of the caption. A post URL already submitted by another creator is blocked; copied captions and posts reused across pools are flagged for the owner. The first claimant wins.

What counts as duplicate content?
Duplicate content is any submission that reuses something already submitted. SaTT checks four cases:
| Case | Flag shown to the owner | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Same post URL, different creator | This post was already submitted by another creator | Blocked, never paid |
| Same post, another pool | The creator submitted this post to another pool too | Flagged for review |
| Identical caption, different creator | Identical caption to another creator’s post | Flagged for review |
| Near-identical caption | Caption almost identical to another post (same pool or another pool) | Flagged for review |
How does SaTT compare posts?
- URL: links are reduced to a canonical form, so tracking parameters or a different URL format do not make a reused post look new.
- Exact caption: a hash of the caption text is compared across creators.
- Near-duplicate caption: a similarity signature compares captions word by word; two captions with a similarity of 0.8 or more (Jaccard index) are treated as almost identical.
The first creator to submit a given post or caption keeps it. Later matches are flagged or blocked.
Why does this protect advertisers and creators?
Without it, one viral post could be claimed by several accounts, or a creator could copy a competitor’s caption and collect the same reward. Duplicate detection keeps every payout tied to one original post by one verified account.
It is one input of the anti-fraud score, alongside ratio, spike and identity signals.
How can creators avoid duplicate flags?
- Write your own caption. Use the brief’s hashtags and mentions, but not a copy-pasted paragraph that other creators will also paste.
- Submit each post once, to the pool it was made for.
- Never submit someone else’s post, even a repost of the brand’s own content.
Key takeaways
- A post URL already submitted by another creator is blocked permanently.
- Identical and near-identical captions (similarity 0.8 or more) are flagged for the owner.
- Reusing your own post in a second pool is flagged too.
- The first claimant of a post or caption wins.
Frequently asked questions
Can I submit the same video to two different AdPools?
Submitting one post to several pools is flagged as “reused post” and goes to each owner’s review. Make a separate post for each brand.
The brief gave me a text to paste. Will I be flagged?
Identical captions across creators are flagged for review, not blocked. The owner, who wrote the text, can approve them. Adding a personal sentence avoids the flag.
What if someone submits my post before me?
Only posts from your own verified account can be paid to you: a post must belong to the account that submits it. Report the case to the pool owner or to SaTT.
