Wallet security tips for SaTT crypto users

Protect your wallet on SaTT: never share your seed phrase, check the network, read what you sign, revoke approvals and use test funds in the alpha.

In short

Your wallet holds your keys; SaTT never does and will never ask for your seed phrase. Before you approve anything, check the network (BNB Smart Chain, or BNB Smart Chain Testnet with chain id 97 during the alpha) and read whether you are signing a free message or a transaction that moves funds.

What must you never share?

  • Your seed phrase (recovery phrase) and private key. Anyone who has them controls your funds.
  • SaTT support, admins and bots never ask for them. A message that does is a scam.
  • Store the phrase offline. Do not keep a screenshot or a cloud note.

What is the difference between a signature and a transaction?

SaTT asks for two kinds of wallet requests:

RequestExamples on SaTTMoves funds?
Typed message signature (EIP-712)Show my stats, link a social account, sign the pool branding or pricesNo, and no gas
TransactionApprove the budget, create and fund a pool, claim earningsYes, and it costs gas

Read the request in your wallet. A “read-only” step should never be a transaction, and an approval should name the token and amount you expect.

Which habits keep your wallet safe?

  • Check the address bar: use satt.com, and bookmark it.
  • Check the network in your wallet before signing.
  • Approve only the amount you plan to fund, and revoke old token approvals from time to time (for example with BscScan’s token approval checker).
  • Use a separate wallet for testing, and a hardware wallet for larger holdings.
  • During the public alpha, use only test tokens: get test BNB from the BNB Chain faucet and test SaTT on Public alpha.

Key takeaways

  • Never share your seed phrase; SaTT never asks for it.
  • Message signatures are free and move no funds; transactions do.
  • Check the domain and the network before you sign.
  • Approve only what you need and revoke old approvals.

Frequently asked questions

Does SaTT hold my crypto?

No. Pool budgets are held by the AdPool smart contract and earnings are paid to your own wallet. SaTT never holds your keys.

Why does SaTT ask me to sign a message to see my stats?

The signature proves the wallet is yours without a password. It is a free, read-only EIP-712 message and cannot move funds.

Which network should my wallet be on?

During the alpha, BNB Smart Chain Testnet (chain id 97); switch from the network menu on satt.com. BNB Smart Chain mainnet is chain id 56.

Can a claim be replayed by someone else?

No. A claim is bound to the creator’s wallet, the pool and the chain, and each signed claim can be used only once.
