The crypto edition and the BNB testnet alpha

How the crypto edition works on BNB Smart Chain: AdPool smart contracts, 5% vs 15% fees, wallet claims, and how to test it free on testnet.

In short

In the crypto edition, each AdPool is a smart contract on BNB Smart Chain funded in SaTT or a stablecoin, and creators claim Oracle-signed rewards with a wallet. Pools funded in SaTT pay a 5% fee, others 15%. During the alpha everything runs on BNB Smart Chain Testnet with free test tokens.

What is the crypto edition?

The on-chain version of SaTT. An AdPool is an escrow contract created by a factory: the budget is locked in it, and only an attestation signed by the Oracle can release a reward to a creator. The advertiser can withdraw what is unspent; nothing else can leave the contract.

Contract details are on Smart contracts.

How are fees calculated on-chain?

The fee depends on the funding token and is enforced by the contract on every payout:

Funded inFeeWhere it goes
SaTT5%Half to the ecosystem, half burnt
Any other token (USDT, USDC…)15%Half to an on-chain buy-back vault (buy SaTT and burn), half to the ecosystem

Prices shown to creators are gross: the fee is deducted when the creator claims. Example: a 100 USDT reward pays 85 USDT net; a 100 SaTT reward pays 95 SaTT net.

How do you test it on testnet?

The alpha uses BNB Smart Chain Testnet (chain id 97). Testnet tokens have no value:

  1. Install a wallet such as MetaMask (see Crypto wallets) and switch to BNB Testnet from the satt.com network menu.
  2. Get free test BNB for gas at https://www.bnbchain.org/en/testnet-faucet.
  3. Press Get test SaTT on Public alpha.
  4. Create a pool in test SaTT (tSaTT), test USDT or test USDC, or join one as a creator.

Step-by-step: Test the alpha on testnet.

How do creators get paid in crypto?

A creator links a verified account to their wallet, submits a post and claims from the pool page. Claims follow the maturation and holdback rules: nothing in the first 48 hours, and in performance pools at most one claim per 24 hours plus a final claim after the pool ends.

What is needed before mainnet?

SaTT’s published exit criteria include: all automated checks passing on two consecutive testnet deploys, every alpha project tested end to end by a human in both editions with no open High bug, and follow-ups such as a minimum governance quorum and an oracle key separate from testnet.

Key takeaways

  • Each crypto AdPool is an escrow smart contract on BNB Smart Chain.
  • Fee: 5% for SaTT-funded pools (half burnt), 15% for other tokens.
  • Creator prices are gross; the fee is deducted at claim.
  • The alpha runs on BNB Testnet (chain 97) with free test tokens.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need real BNB during the alpha?

No. Use test BNB from the BNB Chain testnet faucet for gas, and test SaTT from the Public alpha page.

Can SaTT take the funds in a pool?

No. The contract pays creators only against an Oracle-signed claim, and only the pool owner can withdraw the unspent budget.

Which wallets work?

Any wallet that supports BNB Smart Chain, for example MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Coinbase Wallet, Rabby or a Ledger. See wallet security tips.
