What do you need before connecting?
- An Instagram professional account (Business or Creator). Personal accounts cannot be read by Meta’s API; you can switch in the Instagram app settings for free.
- A Facebook Page linked to that Instagram account, which you administer.
- A SaTT account (e-mail or social sign-in) or a connected wallet.
How do you connect Instagram, step by step?
1. Open your connected accounts
Go to Account settings or step 2 of Creator setup.
2. Press Connect with Instagram
You are sent to Facebook Login. One login links your Facebook Page and its Instagram account; SaTT picks the account automatically.
3. Approve the permissions
Keep your Page and its Instagram account selected and approve the read-only permissions.
4. Come back to SaTT
You return with “Instagram connected — your account is verified.” Your handle shows as Linked with a verified status.
5. Switch account if needed
If SaTT linked the wrong account, press Use another Instagram account to run the login again and choose.
Signing in with Continue with Facebook on the login page links the Page and its Instagram account in the same step.
What does SaTT read and store?
SaTT asks only for read access: the list of your Pages, the Page’s engagement and the basic profile of the linked Instagram professional account (id, username, your own media list to match post links). It never posts for you. Tokens are encrypted and never leave SaTT’s servers.
Disconnect any time from your account settings: SaTT deletes the access tokens. You can also remove the app on Facebook or follow Delete your data.
What if the Facebook connection does not work?
Use “Can’t connect? Verify with a bio code”. SaTT gives you a code such as SATT-7K2Q9, valid 15 minutes; paste it into your Instagram bio, save, and press check. Once verified you can remove the code. See Verify with a bio code.
A bio-code proof shows as “verified by bio code” and counts as verified for AdPools and the Verified creator badge.
