In short
A verified account is a social profile whose ownership SaTT has proven, either through the network’s official connection or a one-time bio code. Only posts from verified accounts can be paid in an AdPool or count in a Quest, so verifying is the first thing a creator does.

What is a verified account on SaTT?
A verified account is a link between your SaTT account (or wallet) and a social profile that SaTT has checked. Without it, anyone could submit someone else’s viral post and claim the money.
Each network you link carries a status:
- Verified by official connection: you signed in with the network (OAuth) and it confirmed the account is yours.
- Verified by bio code: you pasted a one-time code into the public bio and SaTT read it back.
- Self-declared: you typed a handle without proof. It cannot be paid.
- Expired or revoked: the official authorization ended. Reconnect to restore it.
How does SaTT verify ownership?
The official connection is preferred and shown first. The bio code is the fallback where the official connection is not available.
| Network | Official connection | Bio code |
|---|---|---|
| YouTube | Sign in with Google (read-only YouTube scope) | Yes, read from the channel description |
| X | Sign in with X | Yes |
| TikTok | Sign in with TikTok (limited to test accounts during the alpha) | Yes |
| Through Facebook Login, for a Business or Creator account linked to a Facebook Page | Yes | |
| Facebook Login (Pages) | Only where a profile provider is configured | |
| Sign in proves the person only, not their posts | No: LinkedIn has no readable public bio |
Signing in to SaTT with Google, Facebook, X or TikTok also links and verifies that network in one step. SaTT reads only what proves ownership and the public statistics it needs; it never posts for you.
What are the limits today?
- During the public alpha, the Meta app (Instagram, Facebook) is in development mode and TikTok is in sandbox: their official connection works only for approved test accounts. Use a bio code instead.
- LinkedIn proves identity only, so LinkedIn posts cannot be matched to your account or paid today.
- One social account belongs to one SaTT account. If it is already linked elsewhere, the new link is refused.
The app reads the live tracking capabilities and shows “Coming soon” where a network cannot be verified yet.
When should you verify, and how?
Verify before you apply to your first AdPool. The fastest path is the creator setup at Onboarding, step 2 “Link your networks”, or the linked networks in Account settings.
Verifying every network you link also earns the Verified creator badge. For a step-by-step on the bio code, read Verify with a bio code.
Key takeaways
- Only posts from verified accounts are paid or counted in Quests.
- Two proofs: the official connection (preferred) or a one-time bio code.
- Signing in with a network also verifies it in one step.
- LinkedIn proves identity only; its posts cannot be paid today.
- Instagram and TikTok official connections are limited to test accounts during the alpha.
Frequently asked questions
Does SaTT post on my behalf?
No. SaTT uses the official connection only to prove ownership and read public statistics. It never publishes, likes or follows for you.
Can I link several accounts on the same network?
Yes, but each must be verified to be paid, and controlling many handles on one network raises a fraud flag (more than 3 per network).
What happens if my connection expires?
The network shows “expired”, posts from it cannot be paid and the Verified creator badge is lost until you reconnect from Account settings.
