In short
You manage your AdPools from your Dashboard. A dollar pool can be closed at any time once no review or maturing reward is pending, and the unspent budget returns to your balance. A crypto pool paid by Oracle-signed claims lets you press Withdraw remaining 3 days after its end date, once the creators’ claim window has closed.

What can you do while the pool is live?
Each pool in your dashboard shows its budget, what has been distributed and how many creators took part. While it runs you can:
- Review flagged posts (see Review flagged posts).
- In crypto, set or update the prices and the branding later if you skipped those signatures at launch.
- Share the pool page with creators, or invite creators from the Creator directory.
How do you close a pool and recover the budget?
1. Clear pending reviews
In dollars, a pool cannot be closed while flagged posts wait for your decision. Approve or reject them first.
2. Wait for maturing rewards (dollars)
If a reward is still in its 48-hour maturation, closing is refused until it matures; the message tells you when.
3. Close the dollar pool
Press Close. Live posts get one last measurement, then the unspent amount goes back to your $ balance.
4. Wait for the claim window (crypto)
For a crypto pool, creators can claim until 3 days after the end date. The contract refuses any withdrawal before that, so it cannot race a valid claim.
5. Withdraw remaining (crypto)
After the end date plus 3 days, press Withdraw remaining in your dashboard and confirm in your wallet. The full unspent budget returns to you.
Is the platform fee refunded?
| Edition | When the fee is taken | Refund on close |
|---|---|---|
| Dollars (15%) | When the pool is funded | Kept once creators have posted; fully refunded if you cancel before any submission |
| Crypto (5% SaTT, 15% other tokens) | On each payout, when a creator claims | Unspent budget was never charged, so it returns in full |
See the platform fee definition for how each half of the fee is used.
What about older “budget split” pools?
Older crypto pools that split the budget by engagement (Proportional mode) work differently: results become final 2 days after the end, then anyone can press Finalize, creators claim their share, and you withdraw only the unallocated remainder. This mode is retired for new pools.
Key takeaways
- Manage every pool from /dashboard.
- Dollars: close when no review or maturing reward is pending; unspent money returns to your balance.
- Crypto: “Withdraw remaining” opens 3 days after the end date.
- The dollar fee is kept once creators have posted; crypto fees are only charged on payouts.
Frequently asked questions
Can I withdraw part of a crypto budget while the pool is live?
No. The owner can only withdraw the unspent budget after the end date plus the 3-day claim grace period. Nothing else can be withdrawn.
Why is closing my dollar pool refused?
Either flagged posts are waiting for your review, or a reward is still in its 48-hour maturation. Clear the reviews or wait until the date shown.
What happens to posts that are still growing when I close a dollar pool early?
Each live post gets one last measurement before the pool closes. A flagged increase at that moment is not paid.
