Quest FAQ: tickets, draws, prizes and fairness

How SaTT Quests work: who can enter, tickets, auto, proof and honor actions, the verifiable draw, the audit, re-rolls and how prizes are paid.

In short

A Quest rewards verified participants with tickets for actions, then picks winners in a public verifiable draw weighted by tickets. One SaTT account and one device count as one entrant, the owner cannot enter, and winners are audited for 24 hours before prizes are paid.

What are the stages of a Quest?

  1. Live: verified participants join and verify actions.
  2. Frozen at the end date: tickets per entrant are fixed (capped per person) and committed in a Merkle root, together with a future BNB Smart Chain block.
  3. Drawn once that block exists: its hash seeds the draw.
  4. Audit (24 hours by default): honor actions and risky winners are checked; a disqualified winner is replaced deterministically.
  5. Final: dollar prizes are credited; crypto winners claim.

How are Quest actions verified?

TierHow it is checkedExamples
AutoOfficial API or tracked linkYouTube subscribe, visit a URL, quiz, e-mail, daily bonus
ProofEvidence such as a unique comment code or a post linkComment with your SATT-XXXXXX code, create a post
HonorSelf-declared, half the tickets by default, audited on winnersFollows and likes where no API exists

Each action shows its real verification tier. Advertisers can disable honor actions.

Why is the draw fair?

The entries are committed before the beacon block exists, so neither SaTT nor the advertiser can choose a seed. Anyone can press “Verify the draw” on the Quest page to recompute the root, the seed and the winners in the browser. Details: Verifiable draw.

Key takeaways

  • Verified accounts only; one account and one device per entrant.
  • Tickets come from auto, proof and honor actions.
  • Winners are drawn from a future block hash and can be re-checked by anyone.
  • A 24-hour audit precedes every payout.

Frequently asked questions

Who can enter a Quest?

Any SaTT account with at least one verified social account (official sign-in or bio code). Some Quests accept only Verified creators. The Quest owner cannot enter.

Do more tickets mean a better chance?

Yes, the draw is weighted by tickets and without replacement, up to the Quest’s ticket cap per person. The Quest page shows an approximate chance.

Why is my follow worth fewer tickets?

Where no API can confirm a follow or a like, the action is “honor”: it is worth half the preset tickets by default and is checked if you win.

Can I enter twice with two accounts?

No. One SaTT account is one entrant and one device is one entrant. Entrants sharing an IP address get a risk score and are audited if they win.

How do referrals work in a Quest?

You earn tickets when a different verified account joins with your link and completes at least one action. Referrals from the same IP address or device are refused, and there is a cap (10 by default).

What happens if a winner is disqualified?

The prize goes to the next entrant in the same draw order. The re-roll depends only on who was disqualified, never on timing, and the new result is published and signed.

How are prizes paid?

Dollar prizes are credited to the winner’s balance. Crypto winners claim the prize to a wallet linked to their SaTT account, with an Oracle-signed claim and a verified-account receipt.

What if nobody wins a prize slot?

If no eligible entrant remains for a slot, it stays empty: in dollars that prize returns to the advertiser, in crypto it stays in the pool.

How do I run my own Quest?

Choose “Quest” on the Create page, pick actions and prizes, and launch. See Run a Quest.
