SaTT pays a post only if the account that published it is a [verified account](https://satt.com/guides/glossary#verified-account). You verify by signing in with the network ([OAuth](https://satt.com/guides/glossary#oauth)) or by pasting a one-time [bio code](https://satt.com/guides/glossary#bio-code) into your public bio for 15 minutes. ## What are the two ways to verify an account?

The official sign-in is preferred and shown first. A bio-code proof is shown as “verified by bio code”.

## How do you earn the Verified creator badge?

The badge is automatic when at least one linked network is verified by its official sign-in **and** every network linked to the account (and its wallets) is verified. ## What does SaTT read when you connect?

SaTT uses the connection to prove ownership and read your posts and their statistics. It never posts for you. You can disconnect a network at any time in [Account settings](https://satt.com/account).

## Frequently asked questions

### How long is a bio code valid?

15 minutes, and it can be checked up to 10 times. Add it anywhere in your public bio, press check, then remove it once the account is verified.

### Why does Instagram send me to Facebook?

Meta only offers Instagram connections for new apps through Facebook Login. You need an Instagram professional account (Business or Creator) linked to a Facebook Page. See [Verify Instagram via Facebook](https://satt.com/guides/how-to/verify-instagram-via-facebook).

### Why can’t I connect TikTok or Instagram officially?

During the alpha, the Meta app is in development mode and TikTok in sandbox, so only test accounts can use the official sign-in. Use a bio code instead; it gives a verified account too.

### Can I verify a LinkedIn account?

Signing in with LinkedIn proves who you are, but it cannot be matched to post URLs and LinkedIn has no readable public bio, so LinkedIn posts cannot be verified for payouts today.

### Can I verify a Facebook Page with a bio code?

Not today: no provider can read Facebook bios for SaTT yet. Facebook Pages are verified with the official Facebook sign-in.

### Does signing in with a network also verify it?

Yes. Signing in with Google links your YouTube channel, X links your X account, TikTok your TikTok account, and Facebook your Page and its Instagram professional account, all as verified.

### Can someone else claim my handle?

No. A handle linked to one SaTT account cannot be linked to another, and a post only pays the account that linked its handle.

### Why did I lose the Verified creator badge?

One of your networks is no longer verified: its connection expired or was revoked, or you added a network without verifying it. Reconnect it or verify it with a bio code.
