# How to connect and verify your TikTok account

## In short

Go to [Account settings](https://satt.com/account), press **Connect with TikTok** and approve the TikTok login: your account is verified and SaTT can list your own videos. During the public alpha the TikTok app is in sandbox, so only approved testers can use that login; everyone else verifies with a [bio code](https://satt.com/guides/glossary#bio-code) pasted into their TikTok bio.

## How do you connect TikTok, step by step?

1. **Open your connected accounts** — Go to [Account settings](https://satt.com/account), or step 2 of [Creator setup](https://satt.com/onboarding).
2. **Try the official connection** — Press **Connect with TikTok** and approve. You can also sign in with **Continue with TikTok**, which links the account at the same time.
3. **Or start a bio code** — If the login is not available to you, choose “Verify with a bio code”, type your TikTok handle and copy the code (valid 15 minutes).
4. **Paste the code in your bio** — In TikTok, go to Edit profile → Bio, paste the code and save.
5. **Check** — Back on SaTT, press check. If it fails, wait a minute and try again: TikTok sometimes blocks automatic reads. Remove the code once verified.

## What can SaTT measure on TikTok?

TikTok post views, likes, comments, shares and saves, and your follower count, are read through a metrics provider. During the alpha that provider runs on a limited daily quota, so TikTok shows a “Limited” badge in pools and in [My stats](https://satt.com/analytics). Your follower count sets your [audience tier](https://satt.com/guides/glossary#audience-tier) in fixed-price pools.

> **Tip:** With the official connection, you can submit a post by picking it from your own videos instead of pasting a link.

## What if verification fails?

- “We couldn’t find the code in your public bio yet”: make sure the profile is public and the bio is saved, wait a few seconds and check again (up to 10 checks per code).
- “This connection attempt expired”: start again; codes and login attempts are short-lived.
- “This account is already verified by another SaTT account”: disconnect it from the other account first.
- “Reconnection needed”: TikTok ended the connection; press Reconnect.
